The Buddhist community mourns the loss of the highly revered and respected Bhante Jinoshen Mahathero, who passed away yesterday, November 6, 2024, at 9:30 AM at Comilla Moon Hospital. Bhante Jinoshen Mahathero served as the Chief Advisor of the Noakhali Sangharaj Bhikkhu Samiti and the Alishwar Shanti Niketan Buddhist Monastery in Comilla.

বৌদ্ধ সম্প্রদায় গভীর শোকের সাথে জানাচ্ছে যে, শ্রদ্ধেয় ভদন্ত জিনসেন মহাথেরো গতকাল ৬ নভেম্বর ২০২৪ সকাল ৯.৩০ মিনিটে কুমিল্লা মুন হাসপাতালে শেষ নিঃশ্বাস ত্যাগ করেছেন। তিনি কুমিল্লা নোয়াখালী সংঘরাজ ভিক্ষু সমিতি এবং আলীশ্বর শান্তি নিকেতন বৌদ্ধ বিহারের প্রধান উপদেষ্টা ছিলেন, যেখানে তার দীক্ষা ও জ্ঞান অনুগামীদের জন্য আশীর্বাদস্বরূপ ছিল।

For over 45 years, Bhante Jinoshen Mahathero was a dedicated Bhikkhu at the Buddha Mandir in District of Jalpaiguri, place Binnaguri Telepara Hatkhola, where he shared his teachings, compassion, and guidance with countless followers. His deep influence and legacy in the region are reflected in the profound respect and love shown by the community, who continue to honor his memory through his teachings and Buddhist chants.

তবে তার কুমিল্লা নোয়াখালী সংঘরাজ ভিক্ষু সমিতি এবং আলীশ্বর শান্তি নিকেতন বৌদ্ধ বিহারের প্রধান উপদেষ্টা পদে অধিষ্ঠিত হওয়ার আগে তিনি দীর্ঘদিন ভারতের জলপাইগুড়ি জেলার বিন্নাগুড়ির তেলিপাড়া হাটখোলা বুদ্ধ মন্দিরে দীর্ঘ ৪৫ বছর ধরে ভিক্ষু হিসেবে সেবা করে এসেছেন। তার উপদেশ, সহানুভূতি এবং ধর্মচর্চা এই অঞ্চলজুড়ে অসংখ্য অনুসারীর মনে গভীর ছাপ ফেলেছে। 

Though he is no longer with us, his teachings will continue to guide our path. His life and principles will remain an inspiration for the entire Buddhist community. Bhante’s memory will shine brightly in our hearts forever.

তিনি আমাদের মাঝে না থাকলেও, তার শিক্ষার আলো আমাদের পথ দেখিয়ে চলবে। তার জীবন ও আদর্শ বৌদ্ধ সম্প্রদায়ের সকলের জন্য প্রেরণা হয়ে থাকবে। ভান্তের স্মৃতি চিরজীবন উজ্জ্বল হয়ে থাকবে আমাদের হৃদয়ে।
