কলকাতার একটি আদালত শুক্রবার আরজি কর মেডিকেল কলেজ ও হাসপাতালের প্রাক্তন অধ্যক্ষ সন্দীপ ঘোষ এবং বরখাস্ত পুলিশ আধিকারিক অভিজিৎ মণ্ডলকে ১৪ দিনের বিচারবিভাগীয় হেফাজতে পাঠিয়েছে। একই সঙ্গে সিবিআইয়ের বিশেষ আদালত হাসপাতালে কর্মরত আরেক চিকিৎসক আশীষ পাণ্ডে কে তিন দিনের সিবিআই হেফাজতে (৭ অক্টোবর পর্যন্ত) পাঠিয়েছে।

খুনকে আত্মহত্যা হিসেবে দেখিয়ে তদন্তকারীদের ভুল পথে চালনা।

সিবিআই আদালতের সামনে দাবি করেছে যে, সন্দীপ ঘোষ এক মহিলা চিকিৎসকের মৃত্যুকে আত্মহত্যা হিসেবে দেখিয়ে তদন্তকারীদের বিভ্রান্ত করার চেষ্টা করেছিলেন। এছাড়া এজেন্সি অভিযোগ করেছে যে পুলিশ আধিকারিক অভিজিৎ মণ্ডল, ঘোষকে প্রমাণ লোপাট ও সাক্ষীদের প্রভাবিত করতে সাহায্য করেছিলেন।

সরকারি সূত্র অনুসারে, কেন্দ্রীয় তদন্তকারী সংস্থা দুই অভিযুক্তের মোবাইল ফোনের ফরেনসিক পরীক্ষার ভিত্তিতে তাদের হেফাজতে নিয়ে আরও জিজ্ঞাসাবাদের আবেদন করেছে।

তদন্তের সময়, সিবিআই আশীষ পাণ্ডে কে আদালতে হাজির করে এবং তাকে ঘোষের "বিশ্বাসপাত্র" বলে উল্লেখ করেছে। সিবিআই আরও জানিয়েছে, পাণ্ডে ছাত্রদের ভয় দেখাতেন এবং তাদের অ্যাসাইনমেন্ট পাওয়ার জন্য ঘুষ নিতেন। সংস্থার সূত্র মতে, পাণ্ডে আরজি কর হাসপাতালে দেহ ব্যবসা চালাতেন বলে সিবিআই দাবি করেছে।

A Kolkata court has sent Sandeep Ghosh, former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, along with suspended police officer Abhijit Mandal, to judicial custody for 14 days on Friday. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court has also placed another doctor, Ashish Pandey, in the custody of the central agency until October 7 for further investigation.

Attempt to Mislead Investigation by Presenting Murder as Suicide

 The CBI presented evidence in court, alleging that Ghosh attempted to mislead investigators by portraying the death of a female doctor as suicide. The agency further claimed that police officer Abhijit Mandal assisted Ghosh in tampering with evidence and influencing witnesses.

Pandey Allegedly Ran Prostitution Racket at Hospital.

According to official sources, the CBI requested custody based on forensic analysis of the mobile phones of both Ghosh and Mandal. During the investigation, Ashish Pandey was presented in court, where he was described as a "trusted aide" of Ghosh.

The CBI also revealed that Pandey allegedly intimidated students and accepted bribes to secure assignments for them. Most shockingly, the agency claimed that Pandey was running a prostitution racket within the premises of RG Kar Hospital.

Further investigations are ongoing, and the case continues to unfold as the authorities probe deeper into these disturbing allegations.
